Naserian will be serving as our Team Angaza volunteer for Entasekera Primary. Just a month after starting her internship with us, she organized parents in her village of Olorian to start a new preschool closer to their village after recognizing that the closest ECD (early childhood development center) was too far for smaller children to safely walk to. Naserian also help three girls outside her own family stay in school by paying for their school uniforms and other needs. One of them, Soyian, also lives with Naserian and her family during the school year because Soyian’s own father won’t support her education.

Originally from the village of Olorte, she graduated from Kyongong High School and has four children aged six months to 12 years. Once her service with Team Angaza is compete, she hopes to pursue a post-secondary certificate in Social and Community Health.
